The things owners ask before they pay.
How does the free trial work?+
Every new shop gets 30 days of the plan it chose at sign-up, in full, with no card or MoMo number asked for. When the 30 days end you pay to continue, or the shop goes read-only until you do. Nothing is charged by itself.
How do I pay?+
By Mobile Money or card, through Paystack, from the Subscription page in the app. The plan is active the moment Paystack confirms the payment, usually within seconds. Paystack handles your MoMo or card details; we never see them.
Is anything charged automatically?+
No. You pay for a month or a year, and when it is about to end you get a text a week before, the day before and on the day. You renew when you choose to. If you forget, recording sales pauses until you do; your records are kept.
What happens when I renew early?+
The new period starts where the current one ends, never earlier, so paying five days early never loses five days.
Can I change plans?+
Upgrade any time: it starts at once, and the days left on your old plan are converted into extra days on the new one. Choose a smaller plan in the last two weeks of your period and it starts when the current one ends. Cashier and branch limits are checked before you pay, so you are never charged for a plan your shop cannot use.
What is the difference between monthly and yearly?+
A year costs ten months, so paying yearly is two months free. Otherwise the plan is identical.
What does a cashier account cost?+
Nothing beyond the plan. Basic includes one cashier, Growth three, Premium as many as you need.
Do my customers get texted?+
No. The only SMS ShopOS sends go to you, the owner: the evening summary, renewal reminders, and a password reset code if you ask for one.
What if I stop paying?+
The shop becomes read-only: you can sign in and see every sale, product and customer, but not record new ones. Renew from the Subscription page and it is back in seconds. Your records are never deleted for non-payment.
